DJ Loonyo, whose real name is Rhemuel Lunio, posted an open letter on his Instagram account after receiving backlash from netizens on the depiction of his life story on Magpakailanman.

While the apology from his team is still available on Facebook and Twitter, it is now nowhere to be found on his Instagram account.

Loonyo started receiving negative criticisms from netizens after his former partner, Aika Flores, came forward and made a detailed Facebook post on how far the Magpakailanman episode was from what actually happened between them and his late son.

The apology was not specifically addressed towards Aika, but it's likely the case since he and his team stated in the open letter that they "would like to sincerely apologize to the individuals or their families who were offended by the retelling of his life story."

He hasn't appeared publicly after his life story was aired, but he recently made a post clearing his name of what appears to be an edited photo with a fake quotation about his late son.
